“LIMELIGHT” is a sexy transformation of the Great Gatsby-era into a modern-day burlesque spectacular with a host of memorable characters, playfully naughty dancers led by a bad-boy Charlie Chaplin and vocal stylings of a re-imagined curvy Betty Boop.

Named after one of Chaplin's most famous films, “LIMELIGHT” brings the world of black and white silent films to vivid Technicolor through the art of contemporary burlesque.

LIMELIGHT - Characters Charlie Chaplin and Betty Boop

The show's producers are Jodie McDonald and Danial Brown. McDonald, a former Los Angeles Laker Girl and worldwide choreographer, dances in the vibrant burlesque numbers. Brown, who has performed on Broadway and danced with Michael Jackson, steps into the shoes and Chaplin's famous bowler hat. Betty Boop is portrayed by Felice Singer, who currently stars in “Million Dollar Quartet” and has performed in “Les Folies Bergere” and “Fantasy.”

This show will run Thursday-Saturday at 10 p.m. from Sept. 12 through Nov. 1 at The Plaza downtown. Tickets are $30 and $40.
