Exciting news... The Judds both mother and daughter will reunite with a new show “Girls Night Out” and nine residency performances at The Venetian Theatre Oct. 7-24. Produced by AEG Live, the show will mark the country duo's first concerts together in nearly five years. They are currently celebrating the 25th anniversary of their fifth and final studio album “Love Can Build a Bridge.” The Judds have sold more than 20 million albums to date. Tickets start at $59.50.

The residency's signature song and show title “Girls Night Out” are a nod to their 1985 smash hit tune. It also signifies this is party time with beautiful mama Judd donning her fabulous party dresses and the ladies featuring a song list they handpicked.

Since landing their first chart-topping hit “Mama, He's Crazy” in 1984, the the pair have earned 14 No. 1 hits and more than 60 industry awards including five Grammys, nine CMA Awards and eight ACM Awards.

Wynonna has a new album coming out soon and feels this show is the perfect way to honor the roots that gave me the wings to fly. In addition to their successful music careers, Wynonna and Naomi are both bestselling authors, prominent humanitarians and TV stars. Performances will take place Oct. 7, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 21, 23 and 24.

LANCE BURTON'S MOVIE ‘BILLY TOPIT’ HOLDS WORLD PREMIERE

Retired Las Vegas headliner magician Lance Burton has produced and directed a new movie “Billy Topit Master Magician.” The independent family friendly comedy took over five years to make and has been Burton's labor of love since retiring his stage show in 2010 at the Monte Carlo Resort. A world fundraising premiere of the movie will be held on Thursday, Sept. 24 at Brenden Theaters at The Palms with red carpet arrivals at 4 p.m. followed by a curtain speech by Burton and cast at 5:30 and screening at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25 at VarietySN.org. A limited release of the movie will follow and also benefit local charities.

The Billy Topit cast is made up of many of Burton's friends, most who are magicians, jugglers, comedians, as well as actors. Louie Anderson, Mac King, Robin Leach, as well as, Criss Angel all make cameo appearances.

The Billy Topit plot is not autobiographical. However, it is about a Las Vegas magician who performs at children's birthday parties, convinces the woman of his dreams to be his assistant, while local Mob guys try to make him disappear permanently.

Burton headlined at the Monte Carlo for 14 years, performed more than 5,000 shows for over five million fans, and grossed over 200 million dollars. His last performance was Sept. 4, 2010.

KANSAS AND BLUE OYSTER CULT PERFORM LABOR DAY WEEKEND

Fremont Street Experience's “Rock of Vegas 2015” summer concert series will conclude with a free concert on Sunday, Sept. 6 at 9 p.m. featuring Kansas and special guest Blue Oyster Cult on the 3rd Street Stage.

After four decades, Kansas continues to perform for large audiences around the world. The band has produced eight gold albums, three sextuple-Platinum albums, and a million-selling gold single, “Dust in the Wind.” Kansas appeared on the Billboard charts for more than 200 weeks throughout the '70s and '80s.

Blue Oyster Cult

Also for more than four decades, Blue Oyster Cult has been thrilling fans worldwide. The band from Long Island, N.Y., is revered within the hard rock and heavy metal scene for its pioneering work. They are one of very few hard rock/heavy metal bands to earn both genuine mainstream critical acclaim as well as commercial success.

PROFESSIONAL BULL RIDERS WILL MOVE TO NEW ARENA

The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) will stay at the Thomas & Mack Center where they started in 1999 for another year and then move riders and bulls to the new Las Vegas Arena currently under construction behind New York-New York in November 2016. PBR locked down a long-term contract with the new $375-million, 20,000-seat indoor arena.

The PBR World Finals first took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in 1994 before moving to the Thomas & Mack Center where contenders will be this Oct. 21-25 competing for the World Championship buckle and $1-million bonus. The 2016 dates will be Nov. 2-6.

GOLDEN NUGGET'S 52 FRIDAY CONCERT SERIES CONTINUES

The Golden Nugget has definitely raised the standard for entertainment downtown with its 52 Fridays Concert Series at 8 p.m. in the Gordie Brown Showroom. The resort presents a diverse lineup of acts: Grand Funk Railroad Sept. 4; Eddie Money Sept. 11; and 38 Special Sept. 25.

On Sept. 18, the show will be “Last Comic Standing.” NBC's top-rated television comedy competition show is once again launching a live tour, “Last Coming Standing Live,” featuring previous contestants from the hit show.

HENDERSON REVS UP FOR ANNUAL SUPER RUN

Hot rods, muscle cars and vintage vehicles from across the nation will roar into Henderson Sept. 24-27 for the 16th Annual Super Run Classic Car Show. As many as 1,000 cars and trucks, representing all years, makes and models, will be on display in the city's historic Water Street District. Spectator admission is complimentary.

The Fiesta Henderson will host the official event kickoff, featuring a selection of classic cars on display in the hotel's parking lot, from noon-8 p.m. on Sept. 24.

Custom cars, street rods and antique automobiles will cruise to the Water Street District Sept. 25-27, with the festivities starting at 10 a.m. all three days. Events will include the burnout competition, roaring engines contest and slow drags, pancake breakfast, children's activities, exhibits, entertainment featuring Walter the Bus, an oversized art car and world's largest Volkswagen microbus, playing hours of music and local country band Crossroad South at the Henderson Events Plaza.

Super Run Car Show

The Las Vegas Cruisin' Association is accepting car applications through Sept. 14 for $50, after that cost is $65. Car show participants will have a chance to win nearly $10,000 in cash and prizes. More than 200 trophies will also be awarded in a variety of categories.

CRAFTHAUS BREWERY CELEBRATES FIRST ANNIVERSARY WITH A PARTY

CraftHaus Brewery is set to celebrate its first year of craft beer and amazing expansion with the Glitter Bomb Party on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. at the brewery located at 7350 Eastgate Road, Suite 110 in Henderson. They will be releasing new beers, reviving past beers, tapping firkins and launching a glitter beer to celebrate. There will be four local bands, food offerings and the unveiling of new artwork for the taproom. Tickets are required and include a commemorative glass and six, four ounce drink tickets; $20 pre-sale and $25 at the door.

Over the last year, CraftHaus has offered 82 different beers for the community to explore. The brewery installed six new fermenters while adding another 70 barrels to the 60-barrel brewery. This increases annual production to two thousand barrels.

HENDERSON PAVILION HOSTS CLASSIC MOVIES

The Henderson Pavilion is hosting a classic movie series over four Fridays in September and October on its open-air theater's large format screen at 8 p.m. Films include “Jaws” Sept. 4, “Grease” Sept. 11, “The Breakfast Club” Oct. 9, and “The Goonies” Oct. 23. Guests have their choice of open seating or bringing a blanket and stretching out on the lawn. Food and beverage concessions will be available. Tickets starting Sept. 1 are $6.50 per show in advance or $8.50 the day of the event.

GRIMALDI'S PIZZERIA FIGHTS TO END CHILDHOOD HUNGER

Appallingly, one in five children in the United States face hunger every day. Throughout September, Grimaldi's Pizzeria will honor Hunger Awareness Month. Guests who dine at any Nevada Grimaldi's Pizzeria location can donate $5 to the charitable organization No Kid Hungry and receive $5 back to use on their next visit.

PLÁCIDO DOMINGO VISITS THE COLOSSEUM AT CAESARS PALACE

Members of The Las Vegas Philharmonic will be backing renowned artist Plácido Domingo and his guest conductor maestro Eugene Kohn and guest soprano Ana Maria Martinez at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Tuesday, Sept. 15. Tickets range from $79.50 to $500.

Harvest Festival®, the largest and most unique art and craft show in Las Vegas, will be held at Cashman Center Sept. 11–13 opening at 10 a.m. each day. Along with the more than 250 exhibits, there will be entertainment at the Food Court Stage as well as strolling entertainment by Big Mama Sue and Fast Eddie, and WC Willy Stilt Cowboy. The family friendly experience includes a Kids Zone.

The Harvest Festivals began 43 years ago in San Francisco as a destination for artists and craftspeople to gather and have fun to sell their American handmade products. The show continues its tradition by only featuring American handmade arts and crafts made in the United States. Each exhibitor is subject to a rigid jury process to be selected as a featured artisan, ensuring a rich diversity and high quality of all products sold. Attendees are able to directly interact with the artists, watch crafting demonstrations, and can get many gifts personalized.

HEADLINING SALUTES TO MEXICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY

Leading up to Mexican Independence Day on Sept. 16, Enrique Iglesias will headline The Colosseum at Caesars Palace Sept. 13 and 14 at 9 p.m. The Latin superstar has sold more than 100 million albums. Tickets range from $39.50 to $300.

The AXIS at Planet Hollywood has lined up pop male artist Marco Antonio Solis on Sept. 11, Puerto Rico's Chayanne on Sept. 12, Pepe Aguilar on Sept. 14, and Ricky Martin in support of his brand new album, “A Quien Quiera Escuchar” on Sept. 15.

DOWNTOWN GRAND ANNOUNCES ENHANCEMENTS AND PROMOTIONS

The Downtown Grand has been introducing new improvements and programs including repositioning the casino floor, having employees wear new uniforms, and adding signage, lighting and window enhancements.

This month, the resort introduced the Counts Kustoms Blackjack promotion, where players have the chance to win a custom motorcycle designed by the famed chopper fabrication team. Players who are dealt a natural Blackjack are allowed to spin the wheel with a chance to win table game chips, including the grand prize, which will be the motorcycle on display. A player who wins the grand prize can take the motorcycle or a cash payout of $18,000. When the bike is won a new bike will be brought in to replace it.

On Sept. 1, the property is launching the Downtown Grand Rewards Players Card Program with new tiered card benefits. The Sports Book will add new television screens to the indoor area and extend the fun outdoors for football season with tailgate food and drink specials on Saturdays and Sundays starting Sept. 13.

Shake Shack Vegas on the Strip is making every day National Dog Day by adding sweet pup treats Pooch-ini with nut products and Bag O' Bones with five biscuits to their menu and welcoming furry companions. There is a convenient outside window for ordering and open air seating.

Tom Colicchio's Craftsteak at MGM Grand will host a $100 Tenaya Creek Beer Dinner featuring passed hors d'oeuvres and a four-course menu with beer pairings on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 6 p.m.

On Sept. 24, ARIA Mixologist Craig Schoettler and A. Hardy U.S.A. CEO Benedicte Hardy will host an exclusive Hardy Cognac Dinner to celebrate the launch of Thoroughbred, a limited edition Hardy cognac blend made exclusively for ARIA. The five-course meal will be at BARDOT Brasserie in Aria at 7 p.m. Cost is $475.

On Sept. 25, LUX Wines Western Region Sales Manager Stephanie Caraway will guide guests through a five-course Italian wine dinner at FiAMMA Trattoria & Bar at MGM Grand at 7 p.m. Cost is $112.23.

Park on Fremont downtown will introduce weekly “Wing Wednesday” specials available all day beginning Wednesday, Sept. 2. Selections will include one pound of chicken wings tossed in honey mustard, buffalo or chipotle barbecue sauce, paired with the weekly beer special for $10.

LINQ Promenade and The LINQ resort will offer an array of ways to celebrate “Go Orange Day” on Thursday, Sept. 3 to raise hunger relief awareness. Select venues: Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Barl; 3535; O'Sheas; Squeeze; Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar; and Flour & Barley; will feature special menu items with a portion $1 or $2 of the proceeds benefiting Three Square, Southern Nevada's largest food bank.

LABOR DAY DEALS

Tom & Jax from the television show “Vanderpump Rules” will celebrate Labor Day at the Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay on Friday, Sept. 4 at 10 p.m. Cover charge is $30.

Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers will appear at the House of Blues Music Hall also at Mandalay Bay on Saturday, Sept. 5. The Arizona-based group has released six consecutive albums that have debuted in the top 10 on Billboard's Internet Sales chart. They are the first independent band to ever accomplish that feat. Tickets are $29.

Cabo Wabo Cantina will celebrate the weekend with live music, patio parties and a hangover breakfast, along with drink specials Sept. 4 through 7.

Park on Fremont will extend their brunch hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 7.

Life Time Athletic Green Valley at 121 Carnegie Street will have an eclectic poolside entertainment lineup including: Cory Brown co-founder of Alternative-Americana Rock Band, 7th Direction from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4; DJ Chuck Fader on Sept. 5 and 6 from 1-6 p.m.; and a surprise local artist from 5-9 p.m. on Sept. 6. Events are free to Life Time members and $20 for non-members.

MISCELLANEOUS HAPPENINGS

SLS Las Vegas is bringing together big names over Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 4-7. The impressive lineup performing at daytime Foxtail Pool Day parties and in the evening at the Foxtail Nightclub will highlight EDM favorites R3hab, NERVO and Fedde Le Grand, hip-hop icon Flo Rida, Grammy award winning artist Lil Wayne, and hip-hop's new star Fetty Wap, and more.

“Million Dollar Quartet” star and recording artist Martin Kaye will present his latest production, “Odd Socks,” again at Art Square Theatre on Sept. 5 at 8 p.m. “Odd Socks” brings to life Kaye's adventures and mishaps as a musician, blending exclusive new compositions and renditions of fan favorites. He is backed by his three-piece band and special guest cellist Zoe Kohen. Tickets are $25.

The Lulu Washington Dance Theatre, celebrating its 35th anniversary, will appear at The Smith Center in Reynolds Hall with special guest artists jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington with his 10–piece Next Step band and percussionist Marcus L. Miller with his Freedom Jazz Movement band on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $19 to $85.

A reminder that the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art (BGFA) combines the best of two worlds with “Art & Wine: A Perfect Pairing” on the second Wednesday every month from 5-7 p.m. The event pairs wines from Bellagio's cellar with artwork featured in the gallery's current exhibition “Picasso: Creatures and Creativity.” Tickets are $34 for BGFA members and $42 for non-members.
