Family-themed show headliner Jeff Civillico will move from The Linq showroom while it undergoes renovations for a 12-week summer residency next door at the Flamingo in Bugsy's Cabaret. From June 14 through Sept. 6, Civillico will perform two shows daily at 2 and 4 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Note purchased tickets, vouchers, coupons, comps, etc. for The LINQ will be honored at the Flamingo.

Civillico's show was recently voted “Best Family Attraction” by readers of the “Las Vegas Review-Journal” in its annual “Best of Las Vegas” poll.

MAC KING’S SHOW AT HARRAH'S NEARS TWO-MILLIONTH VISITOR

“The Mac King Comedy Magic Show” performed at Harrah's since January 2000 will celebrate its two-millionth guest this summer with a prize package giveaway. All guests attending a performance of the family-friendly show June 16-27 will have the chance to win. Shows are at 1 and 3 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.

The anchor tenant for Phase Two at Tivoli Village will be lifestyle purveyor Restoration Hardware (RH). Four-story RH Gallery at Tivoli with indoor and outdoor space will be the first and only store in the Las Vegas Valley by the renowned RH retailer. It is currently set to open in 2016.

BIGBANG KICKS OFF TOUR AT MANDALAY BAY EVENTS CENTER

Presented by Live Nation Las Vegas, South Korean boy band BIGBANG will kick off its 2015 World Tour ‘Made’ in USA at the Mandalay Bay Events Center Friday, Oct. 2. The group debuted in 2006 and consists of G-Dragon, T.O.P., Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri. The group's tour will follow the release of the album “Made” on Sept. 1.

IHEARTRADIO MUSIC FESTIVAL ADDS LEE BRICE TO DAYTIME LINEUP

The Daytime Village returns to the MGM Resorts Village across from the Luxor on Saturday, Sept. 19 during the fifth annual iHeartRadio Music Festival at the MGM Grand Sept. 18 and 19. Lee Brice has been added to the Daytime Village along with live performances by Tove Lo, Trey Songz, George Ezra, Walk The Moon, Nick Jonas, Hozier, Echosmith, James Bay, Tori Kelly, Zella Day, Shawn Mendes and The Struts.

Pia Zadora, who fully recovered from an accident, is taking a break from her residency at “Pia's Place” inside Piero's Italian Cuisine and will return on Friday, Sept. 11 at 9 p.m. For the summer, the Golden Globe winner will travel and work on other projects.

Big Sean will be a special guest performer for Grammy-nominated J. Cole's upcoming performance at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood as part of his 2014 Forest Hills Drive Tour on Saturday, July 18 at 8 p.m. Tickets range in price from $40.75 - $200.

NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal will return to the turntables for a second appearance as DJ Diesel when he hosts a bash at Chateau Nightclub & Rooftop at Paris on Saturday, June 27. Exactly one year after his first appearance, the former rapper will get partygoers pumped playing original mixes and afterwards the 7-foot-1 retired basketball player and current analyst on “Inside the NBA” will mingle. Admission is $30.

ADAM LONDON'S ‘LAUGHTERNOON’ SHOW OFFERS FREE ICE CREAM

Paid audience members seeing comedy magician Adam London's “Laughternoon” show at the D Hotel downtown can scoop up a complimentary cup of Anderson Dairy ice cream through Labor Day weekend. For London, this is a nostalgic throwback to his job selling ice cream as a teen.

TREVI STARTS SHOW TICKET PROMOTION AND LATE-NIGHT HAPPY HOUR

This summer, TREVI inside The Forum Shops at Caesars is offering guests one complimentary happy hour Bellini to anyone that presents a same-day ticket stub or receipt from a show they attended at The Colosseum or from “Absinthe.”

Along with the late-night ticket promotion, TREVI is offering a late-night happy hour from 9 to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Specials include $6 TREVI Bites and drink specials including classic frozen Bellinis for $4, bottled beer for $5 and wine and cocktails for $7.

VENETIAN-PALAZZO HOST MANY SPORTS EVENTS IN JULY

The Venetian® and The Palazzo® will have appearances by football, basketball, and mixed martial arts athletes throughout the month of July.

The UFC International Fight Week will be July 7-12 with a double title fight mega-card UFC 189: Aldo vs. McGregor on Saturday, July 11. Venetian/Palazzo will have a viewing party at Lagasse's Stadium and a UFC Fan Expo at the Sands Expo July 10-11. Tickets for the two-day expo begin at $60 online and $65 onsite. One-day passes begin at $35 online and $45 onsite.

The inaugural National Fantasy Football Convention hosted by Tony Romo will be held at the Venetian July 10-12. The three-day event unites fans with football players, personalities, and brands. For more information, visit GoNFFC.com.

The Coach Woodson Las Vegas Invitational, hosted by LA Clippers assistant coach Mike Woodson, will celebrate the basketball world through a golf invitational with athletes and celebrities, while benefiting the Nations of Coaches charity.

The nonprofit Strikes For Kids will hold the second Las Vegas All-Star Bowling Classic on July 12 inside the Strike Zone with The Palazzo hosting a red carpet featuring football stars Terrance Knighton, Sammy Watkins, Alshon Jeffery, Demarcus Ware, Duke Ihenacho, and more. Registration is open.

Hoops star Chris Paul will return to host the Third Annual TopSpin Charity Ping Pong Tournament on July 18 presented by InterContinental Hotels Group. Sixteen athletes will go head-to-head in a ping pong tournament. This event allows fans to get up-close-and-personal with their favorite basketball players.

BEAUTY BAR CELEBRATED ITS 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Established in 2005, Beauty Bar Las Vegas was the first bar on East Fremont Street downtown. The bar is co-owned by venture capitalist and entrepreneur Darin Feinstein and Corey Harrison of History Channel's “Pawn Stars.” The bar voted “Best Dive Bar” in the “Las Vegas Review Journal's” 2015 “Best of Las Vegas” readers' poll and one of “USA Today's” Top Ten Best Bars in Downtown Las Vegas is a renowned live music venue featuring and promoting local artists and DJs. The birthday bash was held last Friday.

DOWNTOWN GRAND FEATURES SUMMER ENTERTAINMENT AND EVENTS

The Downtown Grand is holding summer entertainment and events at The Pool Deck in June and July.

The resort will begin its summer concert series on the Fourth of July with the high-energy alternative rock band Lit performing on the resort's rooftop pool deck Saturday, July 4 at 8 p.m. with local Ashley Red as the opening band. Tickets are $20 with a free drink included.

Other Saturday night acts will include: Empire Records July 18; Journey Unlimited Aug. 8; and Mick and The Stones on Labor Day Weekend - Sept. 5. Doors open at 8 p.m. with a $5 cover and the first drink free.

Downtown Grand will host a special Las Vegas 51's event for fans after the game on Sunday, June 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. Several 51's players and Cosmo the mascot will attend and sign autographs and merchandise. Admission is free and available by showing Las Vegas 51's season ticket credentials or a current ticket stub or at the door. Without a game ticket, it is $5. Cold beer specials will start at $2 and there will be $2 food specials.

JILL & JULIA WON FIRST FRIDAY'S ‘MUSIC IS BEAUTIFUL’

Local duo, Jill & Julia won this month's First Friday's “Music is Beautiful” competition. The contest narrowed down more than 100 bands and had 23 musical artists perform at eight different First Friday venues. Jill & Julia won the opportunity to perform at the three-day festival “Life is Beautiful” that returns downtown Sept. 25-27 for the third year.

Sisters and Las Vegas residents, Jill & Julia are singer/songwriters with close-knit harmonies. They captured their first record deal in October 2013 with Lamon Records Nashville. Deviating from the traditional country music genre, Jill & Julia are more closely identified with the Alternative and Folk genres.

MOB MUSEUM PRESENTS ‘SPEAKEASY CINEMA’ SERIES IN JULY

The Mob Museum downtown will be hosting “Speakeasy Cinema,” an after-work film series at 6:30 p.m. featuring classic mobster noir movies with a complimentary alcoholic beverage in the museum's historic courtroom. This special program is made possible by a grant from Nevada Humanities.

The Wednesday night gangster movie schedule will include: July 1 - MGM's 1952 “The Captive City” shot entirely in Reno, Nev.; July 8 - 1950 “Dark City;” July 15 - Columbia Pictures' 1950 “711 Ocean Drive;” and July 22 - 1952 “Hoodlum Empire.” Space is limited to 100 at each screening, which will be preceded by a short presentation providing historical context and behind-the-scenes facts about the mid-century mob film.

SUMMERLIN BREAKS GROUND ON THE CLIFFS

The Howard Hughes Corporation® (NYSE: HHC) broke ground last week on The Cliffs in Summerlin®, which is the first new village to be developed in the master-planned community in nearly 12 years. Chunky stone, wood-like tiles, metals and integrated outdoor living spaces are some of the design criteria to help the 1,700 homes in 11 neighborhoods seamlessly blend with the natural terrain.

ALIANTE INITIATES TWO DRIVING EXPERIENCE STAY PACKAGES

Aliante has introduced two new stay-and-play packages in partnership with the Richard Petty Driving Experience at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Both packages include a two-night stay, dining credit, transportation to the LVMS and either three laps or eight laps in a NASCAR race car. Prices range from $200 to $650.

SANDS CORPORATION HELD A FUN ‘CAN CONSTRUCTION’ CONTEST

The Sands® ECO360° and Sands® Cares partnered with local Three Square Food Bank for the second month-long “Hunger is Not a Game” food drive and collected 30,254 food items. In addition for fun, four company teams with 12 participants competed in a team exercise to conceptualize and build a piece of artwork with the cans collected around the theme of “The Venetian.” The winning team, the “Can-doliers,” with more than 4,000 food cans built a scene including a gondola, the Rialto Bridge and the Campanile Tower.

Supporters of Golden Rainbow came together at The New Tropicana to kick off this year's “Ribbon of Life” by forming a Living Ribbon with approximately 75 people in red to kick off this year's show taking place Sunday, June 28 at 1 p.m. in the Tropicana Theater. Tickets range from $45 to $200 for VIP for the HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada area fundraiser.

The Richard Petty Driving Experience at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is offering an exclusive eight-lap Rookie Experience on Wednesdays during the months of July, August and September for the special Wednesday rate of $299.
