A show direct from the original Crazy Horse in Paris, "La Femme," will debut at the MGM Grand on Thursday, June 14. Since 1951, Crazy Horse has been famous for its productions celebrating beautiful women and the artistry of the nude. This opening will establish a permanent home in the United States for "La Femme."
All 13 dancers in "La Femme" are members of the original Paris dance troupe. Trained in ballet, the dancers integrate sensuous, provocative choreography as their bodies are bathed in richly colored and textured lighting designs.
"La Femme" will showcase the French culture production in a new theater at the resort designed to re-create the one-and-only Crazy Horse located on Avenue George Vin Paris. Stage dimensions, interior design, fabric, colors and tabletops will duplicate the original. As does the venue in Paris, the MGM Grand La Femme Theater will stay intimate by seating less than 400.
Prior to each evening's performance of "La Femme," the audience will be treated to an archival filmed montage of the life and times inside the Crazy Horse offering a glimpse of Parisian social life over the last half-century.
"Le Femme" will appear twice nightly Wednesday through Monday at 8 and 10:30 p.m. Guests must be at least 21 years of age. Tickets are on sale now for $49 inclusive, call 1-800-929-1111 or (702) 891-7777.
