Cher will cap her nearly 40-year performing career with a massive, three-month North American tour, which she claims will be her last.

"Living Proof-The Farewell Tour" will kick off with a June 14 date in Toronto and hit more than 50 cities before ending up in Minneapolis on Sept. 15. The good news is Las Vegas will be on the schedule. It's not confirmed by the date may be Aug. 9 for Las Vegas.

The tour comes in support of the singer's latest Warner Bros. record, "Living Proof," which debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 in March.

Cher will make numerous television appearances before she embarks on the tour. She will be playing God on the season finale of NBC's "Will & Grace." She will also appear live at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 23 on VH-1's "Divas Las Vegas" with Mary J. Blige, Celine Dion, Dixie Chicks and Shakira.

Two fabulous funnymen, Tim Conway and Harvey Korman will bring their "Together Again" show to the Las Vegas Hilton over Memorial Day weekend, May 24-26. Comedienne Louise DuArt will make a return appearance as their opening act doing impressions of celebrities ranging from Cher to George Burns. Tickets are $45 and $55 plus tax and fee, call 1-800-222-5361 or 702-732-5755.

In "Together Again," Conway and Korman re-create five sketches from "The Carol Burnett Show" and deliver individual stand-up routines. Their shows highlight wholesome G-rated humor.

Conway has had an acting career spanning more than 35 years as well as several variety shows of his own. He has won five Emmy awards. Korman's small-screen work has earned him four Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe.

The Sahara, with its rich and memorable history, is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year, by launching a commemorative Interactive Museum at www.saharavegas.com.

The highly creative Internet history line traces the Sahara's colorful past by decades beginning with the 1950s and also by its four owners, Milton Prell, the Del Webb Corp., Paul Lowden and, now, William G. Bennett. The site is rich with photos, interesting anecdotes and nostalgic memories.

The new production show "Showgirls" at the Rio in the Samba Theatre is a wonderful salute to a distinctly Las Vegas icon. Twelve cast members, some topless, trace the glamorous history of the showgirl from the "Ziegfeld Follies" days to the MTV video. The show is a salute to the big shows but done on a smaller budget. It's really quite interesting.

The producer's wife, Sunny introduces each segment of "Showgirls" with recorded narrative and historical clips. She adds her costumed impressions to the production numbers. For the Ziegfeld tribute, the showgirls ascend in white and gold outfits, with Sunny following as Mae West delivering timeless double-entendres. For the Busby Berkeley era she does Marilyn Monroe.

Show times for "Showgirls" are 11 p.m., Monday-Saturday. Tickets are $43.95, call 702-777-7776.

Dan Fogelberg is set to sing at the Aladdin Theatre for the Performing Arts on June 29. Tickets are $30, $45 and $55, call 702-785-5000.

Country singer Randy Travis will "countri-fy" the Buffalo Bill's Star of the Desert Arena in Primm, NV on July 26. Tickets are $35 and $45. Primm is located 40 minutes outside Las Vegas off I-15 and the Nevada/California border.

This is truly a future booking, David Spade will perform his stand-up comedy at the Mandalay Bay's Storm Theatre on Dec. 26. Tickets are on sale now for $55 and $65, call 702-632-7580.

Eek-A-Mouse will return to Las Vegas to play Mandalay Bay Beach on June 22. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

The Mirage has completed a $32 million guestroom redesign, making its 2,763 deluxe and tower deluxe guestrooms luxurious, yet residential.

The new decor blends rich hues of cranberry, cedar and soft yellow with verdant accents, and adds fine art, extensive millwork and custom-designed armoires with enclosed mini-bars, and 25-inch color televisions. Amenities include stately marble entries and bathrooms, in-room safes, work desks and lamps, and two telephones with multiple phone lines for Internet access.

Attention golfers, the Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort has two new golf offerings: the Nicklaus/Flick Certified Instruction program and the Tom Weiskopf designed course, The Falls. The new Neonopolis opened downtown at the beginning of this month with a 14-screen multiplex operated by Crown Theatres, a food court and the La Salsa Cantina Mexican restaurant. By mid-May, La Salsa will be joined by the Saloon Bar & Grill from Ark

Las Vegas restaurants, which operates numerous establishments in town, including Gallagher's and America at New York-New York and Lutece and Tsumani at The Venetian. La Salsa will be a casual American bistro with menu items ranging from barbecue wraps and chili dishes to pork ribs and cowboy steak.

The Saloon and La Salsa are opposite each other and near the complex's Fremont Street entrance. The Saloon will be glass-enclosed with retractable doors. Customers will be able to walk right up to the bar when the doors are open.

In the fall, the two eateries are scheduled to be joined by the two-story Jillian's, a Louisville, Ky.-based entertainment and dancing facility with games, bowling and pool / billiards. Its Video Cafe restaurant will serve classic American favorites.

The money making adult nightclub industry is continuing to grow in Las Vegas. Later this month, Cheetah's owner Mike Galardi will unveil Jaguars at Desert Inn Road near Valley View Blvd. After researching 200 clubs across the country, Galardi is spending $15 million to construct the 25,000-square-foot topless mansion that he is touting as the largest and most opulent in the world.

Jaguars will have a capacity for 900 guests. The architecture will feature a two-story, 80-step, freeflowing staircase, 12 stages, three bars with one being 80 feet long, five VIP suites and an Elite Suite limited to just 100 where membership is $10,000 with computerized fingerprint access.

Guess what though, there will be yet another club. The Olympic Gardens management has begun converting the former Sporting House on Industrial Road behind the Stardust into another 20,000-plus-square-foot, high-end topless operation.

"Ayala and Tanya, a Magical Passion" will return to Caesars Magical Empire, in the Sultan's Palace Theatre, May 22 through June 15.
