The new topless revue “Sexxy” made its debut inside the 300-seat Shimmer Cabaret at Westgate. The show features its producer local headliner, dancer and choreographer Jennifer Romas who is amazing. While the fantasy-like elements are typical with familiar props like the lips couch, stiletto-heel chair, bathtub and pole, along with seductive dancing and costumes, the talent keeps it interesting. The all-female show has seven dancers who are all seasoned professionals.

Sexxy - Topless Review Show

Romas is a standout with her athleticism, which is fully exploited in her phenomenal pole dance routine and aggressive moves with the claw foot bathtub. Her background substantiates her ability. The former Minnesota State Floor Champion received a dance scholarship to work with the world-renowned Gus Giordano Dance School in Chicago where she later toured and taught. She's been featured on national television shows including NBC's “America's Got Talent” and VH-1's “Rock of Love,” and performed as a lead dancer in “Striptease The Show,” “Monster Circus,” “Splash” and “ICANDY Burlesque.” Romas has choreographed for Britney Spears and is currently the solo dancer in “Purple Reign: THE Prince Tribute Show,” also playing at Westgate's Shimmer Cabaret.

Sexxy - Topless Review - Pole Dance

A couple more standouts in Romas' show are singer Gabriella Versace, a veteran of revues including “Erocktica Live” and silk aerialist Svetlana Ghetman. Versace is statuesque with a strong voice presenting varied tunes such as “Birds Flying High” and “Put Your Hands On Me.” And unlike other shows of this genre, she also goes topless.

“Sexxy” runs Wednesday through Sunday at 11 p.m. Tickets are $38.90 $49.90.
