The famous Kingston Trio will perform at the Ramada Express on March 11 and 12. The trio's peculiar spin on the traditional made them a must see for the college crowd of the 50's and 60's. They recorded many of the same songs as Peter, Paul an Mary, but it was their own hits, like the unforgettable "Tom Dooley," "Scotch and Soda," "MTA" and "It Takes A Worried Man" that strongly aided the revival of folk style music. Tickets to see the Kingston Trio in the Pavilion Theater are $15.

The Colorado Belle is offering golf packages called "Roughin' It On The River." Rodeo fans can make camp at the Edgewater during the Laughlin River Stampede PRCA rodeo with a special room package April 7-8. Hundreds of cowboys and cowgirls from around the country will compete in the top seven rodeo events: bull riding, steer wrestling, saddled bronc riding, bareback riding, calf roping, team roping, and barrel racing.

Before the rodeo, the Edgewater is offering a Luau Room Package, March 31-April 2. Bobby Vinton will perform an afternoon concert at 3 p.m. at the Flamingo Hilton kicking off the Spring Concert Series. VInton will be backed by a10-piece orchestra for a show featuring his top hits such as "Blue Velvet", "Roses Are Red" "Mr. Lonely" and "Blue on Blue." The floral flag measuring 20 feet by 30 feet at the Ramada Express is back in full bloom. The resort's huge floral display depicting the American flag features more than 1,000 plants and more than 10,000 flowers. Gardeners employed by the Ramada work daily to maintain the 27 aces surrounding the casino.

The USS Riverside is a luxury tour boat on the Colorado River that offers wedding packages. The Riverside's wedding coordinator and staff are equipped to take care of planning a complete wedding ceremony with flowers, video, gown and tuxedo rental, cake, reception, wedding photographer and more.

The USS Riverside can be chartered exclusively for weddings. The minister, champagne, long-stemmed toasting glasses, boutonniere, bridal bouquet, video tape of the ceremony and special commemorative T-shirts are included in the wedding boat package price.
